Damage on the Job
"Employees
should always take care when using their own, personal property for work
purposes. Generally speaking, your employer has no legal requirement to
replace or repair your property, should you damage it yourself. In the case
of using your own private vehicle to, say, run a work errand, the employer
doesn't have insurance for you vehicle, and so is unlikely to contribute
to any damage you may have in a motor accident," Long Seeker warns.
